Atlanta Restaurant Review - Thai Chili

Ok so anyone who knows me is very aware that one of my favorite things to do is experiment with food. I love trying new restaurants and new cuisines. Atlanta is THE place to dine out and keep it on a budget.
A girlfriend and I ventured out late last Friday night with a taste for something spicy. It was a tossup between Mexican or Thai.  Thai food won the debate, so we decided to venture out and try a new place.

Thai Chili was the place of choice.  We got there at around 10:45 and noted the restaurant was about to close at 11.  We thought, surely, they would turn us away.  Surprisingly they did not!  They sat us and gave us the same service as we would receive if we have gotten there at 7:45.  The service was excellent and we did not feel rushed at all.

We ordered our beverages; my friend a diet coke and I a Thai tea.  I recommend this drink as it was flavorful, mixed right and came in a fancy glass!  Then it was time for our entrees. My friend ordered the Pad-See-U which was a choice of chicken or beef with flat noodles sautéed with egg, broccoli, thin soy sauce, a touch of garlic and seasoned with special sauce. YUMMY…  I ordered the red curry chicken with coconut milk, Thai eggplant, basil leaves and bell peppers.. another YUMMY!

The food was awesome and the service was superior. Ok, ready for the price?  We both ate and tipped for under $35! We will definitely be dining here again! No wonder this restaurant has received awards from Zagat and Creative loafing!

The restaurant is located in the Briarcliff area - 2169 Briarcliff Road, Atlanta, GA 30329 - 404-315-6750.  For Directions and to preview their site check them out at http://www.thaichilicuisine.com
